MEDICAL ADVISORS H.L. Brammell, M.D., of Denver, Colorado, is Medical Director, Healthsouth Rehabilitation Center of Denver and Consultant in Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Dr. Brammell is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, where, from 1975 to 1985, he was Director, Research and Training Center in Cardiac Rehabilitation, RT-10; and Associate Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from 1976 to 1985. He is Chair of Colorado Action for Healthy People's Task Force for Cardiovascular Disease and a consultant for Adolph Coors Corporation, Golden, CO, and for Execu-Fit, Inc. He is a past member of the Editorial Review Boards for the (Journal of Cardiac Rehabilitation" and "Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise" Dr. Brammell received his M.D. from McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He performed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado Medical Center, Denver. From 1980 to 1981, Dr. Brammell was vice-president, National Association of Rehabilitation Research and Training Center; and, from 1979 to 1981, he was a member, Executive Committee National Association of Rehabilitation Research and Training Center. From 1970 through 1985 he was supervisor, Cardiac Rehabilitation Laboratory, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver; and, from 1970 to 1973, he was Director, Coronary Care Unit, Colorado General Hospital, Denver.
